There are a number of benefits to signing up for direct deposit, including fast and easy access to your funds as well as additional discounts. It’s also easy to do.

1) Sign up for direct deposit.

If you are just starting a new job, or would like to transfer your direct deposit from another financial institution, contact your employer’s Human Resources department for details. You’ll need to provide the Credit Union’s ABA routing number, 311992904, and your checking account number.

If you don’t know your checking account number, you can find it a couple of different ways. If you have checks, it’s the seven-digit number on the bottom and center of your check, excluding the preceding zeros. You can also find it in online banking by logging in and clicking on your Personal Checking account. Your checking number is located in the "Details" tab of your transaction history.

If you’re an American Airlines employee, you can enroll for direct deposit via Jetnet. Simply log in and click on “Team Member Services” and then “Money & Attendance.”

2) Switch other direct deposits.

Make certain to switch any other sources of direct deposit, such as Social Security or retirement plans. To change Social Security deposits, visit SSA.gov/deposit or call (800) 772-1213. Contact your retirement plan’s administrator to determine how to switch that deposit to the Credit Union. You’ll need to provide the Credit Union’s ABA routing number, 311992904, and your checking account number.

3) Save money.

You can receive a 0.25% Annual Percentage Rate discount when you set up direct deposit into your Credit Union checking account. Your direct deposit discount begins on the first month after the loan is funded and will continue to be deducted from the rate monthly, as long as direct deposit remains on your checking account and you remain in good standing.

The direct deposit discount is available on the following loans:
